Seven cyclists travelled from Devon to Lymington to take part in the Solent Coasts Sponsored Cycling Challenge, raising money for charity. Sarah Norries (third from left) said, "Our first ferry crossing was at 8am from Lymington to Yarmouth in the Isle of Wight. The first leg of the ride was the most challenging, 13 miles off road over the downs. I wondered why I was doing this for the second year running! It was an excellent route across the Isle of Wight, back to the mainland at Portsmouth along the coast and through the New Forrest, finally returning to Lymington 10 hours later." Sarah concluded by saying, "Thanks to a great team and of course the navigators - I'd still be on the Isle of Wight if it had been left to me."
